The carry over champ got a bit ripped off tonight, I don’t like it when the competitor wins because they got bonus cash. I know it’s part of the game, but it doesn’t reward actually being smart. Especially when the poor girl, Joanne I think her name was, resisted “temptation” and didn’t spend the $15 on “The Vault”. The final scores ended up being $85 (to the new champ) and $75 to the carry over champ.

They were even at about half time, when the new guy got the $25 off the board. Joanne got the $10 earlier, so I guess if he didn’t have that extra $15 on her, she would have only won by a question. The new champ seems okay though, I hate watching it when you clearly think the “winner” fluked it, clearly is a moron or just generally an unlikable character. He got the $50,000 cash added to his jackpot account too, it’s been a fair few nights since we have seen someone do that properly.

Anyway, tonight’s numbers were revealed quite early in the night, they were 500422 so as always, if you’ve got that number, jump on the phone first thing in the morning (call 1800 331 101 between 9 and 5) to register for your chance to win some of the cash!
