Custom picture framing made easy
November 6th, 2007
Finding a frame for that special picture can be hard. Some frames can be too much and take away from the photo, while if they are too bland they can make the picture fade away on your wall. If you don’t have time to go to a framing store and you want something better than a mass-produced store bought frame, check out Frameshop, an online Australian picture framing business. Not only does Frameshop sell beautiful art prints, canvases and mirrors, they have this fantastic DIY feature called “Frame your own Photo”.
With “Frame your own Photo” you choose the size of your picture (you can upload an image, pick a standard size, or enter a custom size), then you pick what frame, mattes and glass you want. The system is very easy to use and your frame is displayed for you as you build it so you can see exactly what it will look like.
We recently bought a picture from overseas as a Christmas present and wanted to get it framed but never seemed to have the time to go to a framing store. Plus, we couldn’t find any standard frames that were the right size or that looked good. The Frameshop custom picture framing is the perfect option. We are going to get a frame from them so we’ll let you know how it all goes.
