It ain’t no “notebook” its “encyclopedia aurora”
June 19th, 2007
Just like the olden times when people had to use those big “encyclopedia” books to do their homework, Alienware, a nerdy “cool” computer manufacturer (now owned by Dell) has created a monster.
I don’t know if I could review this as a notebook, so I dub the an “Encyclopedia PC”. Have a look at the Alienware Aurora it is huge!
With a huge 19 inch screen, this “notebook” also has dual nVidia 7900 GTX 512Mb video cards, that’s right 1GB of video memory!
It weighs only 6.8kg, about twice the weight of a newborn baby. But don’t worry, it’s portability is not the only great feature. It’s cheap too, a fully spec’d machine will set you back just over $8,000 Australian, oh and then add shipping
Height: 3.55cm
Width: 47.63cm
Depth: 34.29cm
